SUMMER PROGRAM

GRICUA hosted its second annual GRICUA STEAAAM Summer Program on June 18-22, 2018. GRICUA’s STEAAAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Agriculture, Architecture and Math) Summer Program offered students an environment to explore these diverse subjects. The students went on field trips to some new places like Ramona Farms, Wellington Ranch and PMIP (Mar 5 in District 2). They also visited the Arizona Science Center, the Pee-Posh Wetlands in District 7, Kitchell and ASU. Some of our presenters were Community members Jarrod Lewis, Jaina Brown, Yolanda Hart-Stevens and Boeing and Intel. The students ended the week with a fun filled afternoon at the Main Event in Gilbert.
