INTERNSHIP
GRICUA offers an opportunity for college students to learn about how an electric utility operates. The College Intern will rotate through various departments at GRICUA, learning about the tasks and responsibilities of the people who provide electric service to the Community. The program for the college intern will be developed based on his/her major course of study. The college intern will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

2024 Summer High School/College Internship Program
GRICUA is now accepting applications for High Scool and College Summer Interns. he Deadline to apply is Friday, May 10, 2024
- Student must be 16 years of age and an enrolled member of the Gila River Indian Community.
- Students will work 40 hours per week (Mon.-Fri.)
- Students will learn from experienced draftsmen, warehouse supervisors, meter technicians, line workers, accountants and others directly involved with the work in the utility.
- Student should have some basic computer skills, such as word processing and spreadsheets.
- Student will be required to pass a drug screen and background check prior to employment.
