GRICUA's Youth Programs
GRICUA is committed to providing opportunities and organized activities for the youth in the Gila River Indian Community. We offer the STEAAAM Summer Program for middle schoolers, the Washington Youth Tour for high school juniors, High School and College Summer Internships and the Youth Board Intern for students between the ages of 16-25.

SUMMER PROGRAMGRICUA will be hosting its GRICUA STEAAAM Summer Program for 2024. GRICUA’s STEAAAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Agriculture, Architecture and Math) Summer Program offered students an environment to explore these diverse subjects.
HIGH SCHOOL
INTERNSHIPSGRICUA offers an opportunity for high school students who want to learn how an electric utility operates. The High School Intern(s) will rotate through various departments at GRICUA, learning about the tasks and responsibilities of the people who provide electric service to the Community.
COLLEGE
INTERNSHIPSGRICUA offers an opportunity for college students to learn about how an electric utility operates. The College Intern will rotate through various departments at GRICUA, learning about the tasks and responsibilities of the people who provide electric service to the Community.
WASHINGTON
YOUTH TOURThe Washington Youth Tour, organized by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, brings over a thousand young people from across the United States to Washington, D.C. to learn more about community-owned electric utilities and the federal government.
