NEW COMMERCIAL
SERVICE
New commercial customers will be required to provide the following information:
- One set of GRIC Building & Safety approved plans
- AutoCAD civil site plan that represents new and existing locations of water, sewer, gas and TELCO facilities
- AutoCAD building layout with Panel or SES location shown
- Panel load calculations with voltage requirements
- Manufacturer's drawings for panel or service entrance section (this equipment is subject to GRICUA approval)
- Commercial Electrical Service Request
The initial Design Deposit schedule is below.

*Initial Design Deposit is required before a detailed Cost Estimate can be prepared. After the Initial Design Deposit has been paid, a Designer will meet with you to look at your job so that a Cost Estimate can be prepared. The Cost Estimate may include costs associated with permitting, easement acquisition, required material to complete the job, and trip charges. When the Cost Estimate is completed, the customer will receive an invoice (based on the Cost Estimate.) When the Invoice is paid, this payment is referred to as Aid-to-Construction; The Initial Design Deposit that was previously paid will be credited to your Aid-to-Construction. If unforeseen costs arise during the construction process, the Customer could receive an Invoice for the additional costs in which the Customer will be responsible for paying after construction has been completed.
*Upon receipt of all documents, the request will be assigned to a GRICUA designer. Customer will receive assignment notification via e-mail.
